Jilin, China (2019 – 2020)
This marks the beginning of when my vision started to take form. I was at a place in life where I didn’t want to exist anymore, and instead of taking my life, I decided to start over from zero, in another country where I didn’t know anything, not even the language.. My art documents my thought process during that period, the emotions I went through and observed, and my existential suffering.
This is the first step of true creation.. deconstructing everything to extract the essence “Prima Materia”.
